Course Description

Work in partnership with Oceanit and the Hawaii Department of Transportation to help tackle community safety from a data engineering perspective. Learn from industry experts about what specific problems are facing the community and current state-of-the-art solutions to combating traffic injuries. Design with your community better solutions and pitch your ideas for implementation with the DOT. Learn how to use data to create a story that drives action in others.

Explore different fields related to AI in Hawai'i and beyond. At the end of this course, students will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for feedback with leading industry professionals.
