In this opportunity, students get to work directly with marine scientists and local organizations to learn about problems in our area and create solutions to solve it. Students gain key knowledge and skills that will give them a leg up in this industry.
You'll learn and use the Design Thinking Process to create a project to positively impact your community. Participants will have several opportunities to pitch their ideas for essential feedback with leading industry professionals. Students will also gain technical skills by designing and building Marine Science solutions at Leeward Community College.
